Ear Swapped Muttlies!
(P4 Pet Files)
(P4 Pet Files)

Scottie Ears - Nutella / Tumble
Chi Ears - Willa / Basil / Frankie
Poodle Ears - Cookie / Corine
These are mixed breed pet files, bred from Sheepdogs with naturally occuring ear varieties. They were bred with the Basic Variations OW in and in order to produce your own Muttlie pups, you must have one of the Muttlie OW files in your game, otherwise they will come out as giant Muttlies (see stamp at the top of the page haha).
Genexing Tutorial to Breed from Sheepdogs
If you're interested in breeding your Muttlies from normal Sheepdog mixies you already have (either just for more variation or for different ears etc), you can't just put a Muttlie OW in, you will get giant muttlies! So, there is one important step you must do first - genex your sheepies!
1. Create a copy of the sheepdog pet files you want to breed (keep your originals somewhere safe!!)
2. With a Hex Editor, you have to Genex the scales on both gene sets to 75 (in hexadecimal that would be 4B).
(Check out the guide on Yabiko for more info on gene editing!)

(Screenshot only shows one gene set, you have to scroll down and edit the second set too)
3. Balance the Checksum (manually or using Petz Byte, downloadable on Yabiko)
4. Make sure you have a Muttlie OW breed file in your game (back up your original Sheepdog.dog!)
5. Breed to your hearts content! Your Sheepdogs will now produce perfectly and genetically correctly sized Muttlies! (baring any other non-sheepdog parts of course, being mixies, your muttlies may get some other non-"sheepdog/muttlie" body parts)
(Thank you to shaina @ kizmet for teaching me about this!)
